This fucking Orange Kit
I've never been one who cares too much about kits and in general that get spoke about for around a week or two after coming out (usually get slated, on here anyway) then it rarely gets mentioned again.

I just can't get use to us in this fucking orange mess, it's not right. Also, we are the 'away' side in the ECL final and FC Basel and Fiorentina both wear dark colours, so we may be lifting our first piece of silverware in 43 years in this thing?

Does anyone like it, or dare I ask even bought it? Are there many fans going to games in it?

Rant over.

I can't get past it.

I can't fully concentrate on the game without constantly thinking "FMOB that kit is fucking horrendous".

Re: This fucking Orange Kit
My son's 12. He loves orange. He's got untold amounts of orange tops (sports tops mainly).
He loves the orange goalie kit from a couple of years ago

And even he despises this kit

Re: This fucking Orange Kit
I've noticed other teams 3rd shirts are equally as shit.

It's almost like they've all got together to see who could create the worst shirt and see who would still buy it.

Re: This fucking Orange Kit
It doesn't really bother me in fact I wish we could wear it at home I might be able to see the players better :-)

Not many wearing it at games.

Yes I think we will have to wear it at final, or maybe they will do what they did in '76 IIRC didn't they wear next seasons new Admiral kit in the final?

Re: This fucking Orange Kit
It’s the kind of kit that if another team wore it, I’d think “I quite like that”

But it isn’t West Ham that’s for sure. As for wearing it when we lift a trophy… I don’t think we’ll have to worry about that

I thought it was styled on Alvin Martin circa 1986:

It's fucking hideous. I liked the black one from last year, or was it the year before?

Re: This fucking Orange Kit
Let’s be honest, we all know it’s an horrendous looking kit. Our away and 3rd kit should be blue or white with bits of claret, blue and white in whatever poxy pattern they want to use.

A LOT of fans wear it. It feels like an ESSEX thing.

It’s the future.

Kit designers have completely run out of road with us, they rejigger every old kit so now it’s just any old shit.

Re: This fucking Orange Kit
Can’t say I love it but doesn’t bother me either.

We have had a few Away shirts that have been a bit “Different” from tradition over the years including the Argentina one in 1991 and the Rhubarb & Custard one from 1998 ish.

Tbh the Home shirt offends me more with those horrible patterns on the top of the sleeves.

If it were up to me I would have the Home & Away shirts from 1981-1983 and stick with them.

Re: This fucking Orange Kit
It's fucking hideous. We also have a black kit this season which is far easier on the eye that we barely play in. I thought that the black kit was the away kit, but it must be the third kit given how often we wear this orange abomination.

As others have said it's just not a West Ham kit, but even if it was light blue rather than orange, the design looks awful. The top to me just looks like a white shirt that's had orange paint spilt down it, bit like a decorator's overalls.

Do they? I don't recall seeing anyone wearing it at games.

Perhaps that's why they're constantly trotting the players out in it because no one's buying it.

Re: This fucking Orange Kit
I'm with you Manny son... I don't know ANYONE that likes it... the amazing thing is that..

a. Someone from Umbro thought... yeah this looks like a great design for WHU.... and worse of all...

b. Someone at the club AGREED!!!!

Expect them to be in the bargain bin for £10.00 in a months time and still not selling.... horrendous piece of toot

I see it A LOT worn by the type who also wear those VILE tight trousers. Like I say very ESSEX

fraser 11:52 Sun Apr 30
Re: This fucking Orange Kit
I can't stand the home kit it's an abomination. I think the orange is the third kit, but we play a lot of games against teams that the second kit clashes with so the third gets more outings.
